The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to know whether they're working until you see them in action.

Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning configuration options in its app or as many shortcuts within the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comprehensive robot vacuum and mop that's worth the premium price tag.

If you're looking to cut costs or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of alternatives available. Many of the eufy models cost significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and provides the same experience in the app, but with more features like the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

When it's time to recharge, it will automatically return to its base and resumes cleaning from where it began.

The eufy G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better constructed, has lower recurring expenses, charges faster and offers similar battery life. It also offers better performance on floors with no carpet and low-pile carpet. It comes with a larger dust bin, which does not require the same amount of emptying. It also has border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 on the other hand, is more affordable and a lot simpler to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't have to be empty as often and it's less difficulty with bulky items like cereal.
